Charlotte, N.C. (May 2, 2013) – The first weekend in May will be a extra busy one for Brawley, Calif., native Justin Lofton as he looks to compete in both the Best in the Desert Silver State 300 in Eastern Nev. and Stadium SUPER Trucks Round No. 4 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif. all in one weekend.
The race inside two races will begin for Lofton on Thursday, May 2 with qualifying for the Silver State 300, twisting and turning through the tight mountain roads of Eastern Nev. in search of the pole position for Saturday’s desert challenge.
After the completion of qualifying Lofton will board an airplane Friday morning and make the 450-mile flight to San Diego to practice and qualify for Stadium SUPER Trucks Round No. 4.
With two Stadium SUPER Truck quick times already under his belt in four rounds Lofton will look to capture his third behind the wheel of the Imperial Valley Full Plate / Solar City / Weekend Warriors Productions No. 6.
Following SST qualifying Lofton will once again board a plane and head back to Eastern Nev., for the start of the Silver State 300 Saturday morning. After racing the Lofton Cattle / Speed Energy / General Tire Class 1 300-miles through the grueling mountains of Nev., Lofton will immediately head to the airport bound for SST qualifying heat races and 20-lap final.
After a forgetful night one week prior, the Imperial Valley Full Plate / Solar City / Weekend Warriors Productions No. 6 will look to get back to its winning ways in Stadium SUPER Truck competition in front of many friends and family attending from the “Valley.”
