Lofton Starts and Finishes Fourth at Berlin, MI July 26, 2008 “It was a good night for the No. 20 Lofton Cattle team,” said Lofton. “We were the best car out there towards the middle of the race but I think we went the wrong way on an adjustment on our last stop. We were still a solid top 5 but just didn’t have it to get past the 44 and 16 so we could challenge Scott for the win. We knew this was a good car coming here. We have all four fenders still on it so we’ll pack it up and unload it at the next short track.” >> Click here to Read More Justin Lofton Soars to First ARCA RE/MAX Series Win June 14, 2008 Under bright blue skies, Eddie Sharp Racing’s Justin Lofton drove to his first career ARCA RE/MAX Series win in the Race for Wildlife 200 at Michigan International Speedway. Qualifying on the outside pole and starting beside teammate Scott Speed, the Westmorland-native ran up front all day, calmly, and patiently taking the lead in the final laps for the win. “This is definitely an emotional win for me,” said Lofton. “I spun my tires on the start of the race and we lost several positions with our first pit stop. The guys did a great job on the next stop and we came out third, putting us in the position for the win. A big part of our success has been that my team owner Eddie Sharp came out of retirement to act as my Crew Chief and Lorin Ranier has spotted for me the last two races. As Lorin said recently, we have the A team going now!” >> Click here to Read More Eddie Sharp Racing Signs Justin Lofton for a Full Season in 2008 Apr 1, 2008 Originally slated to run a ten-race selection, California-native Justin Lofton has signed to drive the entire 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series season for Eddie Sharp Racing. “I’m really looking forward to this season at ESR,” said Lofton. “The team has been working really hard building cars and preparing for our tests over the last month.
